Taking a wall down inside the house
Knocking through a dining room in a detached house is often outside the Act. Knocking through in a terrace, with a steel taken into the shared wall, often is not. The name “internal” does not decide it.

Even a marked-up plan showing which wall goes, and what replaces it, is enough to start. A notice is not drafted from the sentence “we’re opening up the ground floor”.
