Security for expenses is a statutory idea about money being set aside against the risk of the work. It is not a deposit for every extension, and it is not something software will demand.

Where it tends to be discussed
Deeper or riskier work is where the question arises. Basements and significant excavation are the files where a reviewer will expect it to be talked about. A straightforward loft often is not that conversation. Still subject to the surveyor’s view.
If it is requested, the amount and the handling of the money are for the appointed surveyor or surveyors. We will not invent a figure.
