Party Wall Notices in London

London housing stock is full of party walls: terraces in the north, mansion blocks, and houses divided into flats with a freeholder who still needs to be thought about. The notice has to follow the ownership, not just the builder’s postcode.

General information. Status: pending project-specific review by a qualified Party Wall professional. House-style review 27 September 2026.

Launch coverage is practical rather than ceremonial. We are set up first for north and north-west London and the boroughs we name on the area pages, with Home Counties partners where insurance and capacity are in date. A central London basement is accepted only onto a specialist review, not onto a standard notice quote.

Typical instructions at launch are loft conversions and rear or side-return extensions where the drawings exist and the work has not started. If you are a developer with a terrace of houses, use the referral desk and expect a bespoke scope.

  • Haringey, Barnet, Enfield, Camden and Hackney pages carry local notes
  • Flats: tell us about the lease and the freeholder at intake
  • We do not cover Scotland or Northern Ireland
