Neighbours
Protecting your side of the wall
A Schedule of Condition is a note of what the adjoining property was like, usually with photographs. It is often commissioned even where the neighbour has consented.
This is general information for England and Wales. It is not a decision on your building. Status: pending project-specific review by a qualified Party Wall professional. House-style review 27 September 2026.
What it will and will not say
It lists rooms and external parts that were inspected, and the parts that were not. It is not a structural survey unless someone suitably qualified has separately agreed to provide one.
If damage is later alleged, the schedule is evidence of the starting point. It does not decide who pays. That decision is not made by this website.
A Party Wall Notice does not replace planning permission, building regulations approval, leaseholder or freeholder consent, or structural advice. This platform does not provide legal advice and does not issue Awards.
